This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. This little love seat was neither easy nor difficult to assemble the instructions were reasonably clear but it took quite a while to finish. Lots of hex bolts to turn in sometimes tight places. This couch is beautiful and compliments my mid century home beautifully. It is comfortable and sits 3 adults perfectly. I love that it is lightweight and easy to move when cleaning. The only downside to this sofa was that for the simplicity of the parts that were included, it took a very long time to put together because the directions lacked specifics to the placement of the beams when attaching. The instructions were not easy to follow at all. We have the same exact couch in a grey but I don’t remember it being this hard to set up. The couch is solid though and we must have liked it for us to get 2 of it! This one is in our family room and it has a beautiful royal blue color to it. If you are looking for a less bulky set that is still long and has room, this should do it. It does not look cheap. But I will say this - from knowledge of the other grey one we have, the fabric starts to have piles on it after a short time and this happens with age and from rubbing (sitting) upon it. I am now seeing that there might be ways to remove piling from furniture. If the instructions for removal are easy to follow, then the couch would be worth it. 4 stars for the look and solid feel (should be a 3 because of the piling). Ugochi. Wake Forest, NC.
