We are so happy with this bed! My 9-year-old daughter absolutely loves it. Since we put it together, she actually makes her bed every morning and keeps telling us how much she loves spending time in her room — which might be the best review a parent can give! Assembly was very straightforward and easy to follow. Like some of the other reviews mentioned, it does take some time, but I chose to build it in sections over two days, which made the process very manageable. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed myself. My husband only had to help me carry the bookcase sections upstairs because of their size. For the price, I think this bed is an excellent value. It completely changed the look and feel of my daughters room and gives her a fun, cozy setup that she genuinely enjoys. This is such a great bed! My daughter is obsessed with pink as you can tell from the pictures. It is such a fun bed for her! The lights are great and color changing. It seems to be built really nice also. Instructions were great which was so nice! The only things that I would change about this bed are putting a couple extra wheels on the trundle part to make it a little easier to put in and out and having the ability to put the headboard on the left or right end of the bed would be nice but these are not dealbreakers.. I regret buying this product. I am on day 3 of trying to put it together and still struggling. I have had to get different screws nuts and bolts then were given, and Some pieces of the bed aren’t even long enough to fit properly. We bought 2. They were a long assembly. They are nice though. Seem to be good quality. The drawers hold quite a bit and there’s plenty of open storage behind the drawers. I purchased this bed for occasional use in a smaller guest room, and it works well for that and looks attractive. The complaints about the headboards being wiggly and not coming together at the corner are completely deserved. I actually had to bolt the headboards together because they simply did not seem sturdy enough for guests to lean and relax against and the gap looked bad. Also, the instructions are bad, treacherously bad. Do yourself a favor and read the entire directions several times though because the diagrams are not sufficiently drawn on every step to know which direction the headboard feet are supposed to be installed. Also, if you dont have a ratchet with hex keys, you will absolutely want one to save your sanity. If this bed came pre assembled and the headboards came togetherdidnt wiggle, it would be 55. As experienced in reality - minus one star for having inadequate instructions and minus one star for forcing me to drill through and bolt the headboards together with a heavy duty 5 bolt.. Anonymous. This works really well for my son. He thinks the lights are cool and there are lots of spots to place his books and collections. We had up buy a new mattress though. We love it! The velvet material is soft and cozy. We found a matching grey fitted sheet and zippered pillowcases to help pull it together to make it look more like a couch. I love that it can instantly be transformed to a guest bed. My ten year old daughter helped me assemble it in an evening. It’s what we needed for our space. Very sturdy bed with nice craftsmanship/materials. Paint was fine for the grey. Drawers are made of nice thick material. Not the cheap cardboard backing. The bed comes with 10 cross beams to support the mattress, but I added a few more from the bed I replaced. Didn't really need it, but just made a sturdy bed that much more. Be sure to add a drop of wood glue to the wood inserts, really helps over the long haul. Assembly too about 3-4 hours.
