It is used more as a couch than a bed but it has held up and still looks new. Love it! I put it together by myself!! It’s comfortable to sit on with pillows all around. The arms are nice and high giving something to lean against. I keep a king size bed pillow at each end. There’s a bit of a gap between the last slat on the upper bed and the arm. I purchased this bed for occasional use in a smaller guest room, and it works well for that and looks attractive. The complaints about the headboards being wiggly and not coming together at the corner are completely deserved. I actually had to bolt the headboards together because they simply did not seem sturdy enough for guests to lean and relax against and the gap looked bad. Also, the instructions are bad, treacherously bad. Do yourself a favor and read the entire directions several times though because the diagrams are not sufficiently drawn on every step to know which direction the headboard feet are supposed to be installed. Also, if you dont have a ratchet with hex keys, you will absolutely want one to save your sanity. If this bed came pre assembled and the headboards came togetherdidnt wiggle, it would be 55. As experienced in reality - minus one star for having inadequate instructions and minus one star for forcing me to drill through and bolt the headboards together with a heavy duty 5 bolt.. Anonymous.
