We are so happy with this bed! My 9-year-old daughter absolutely loves it. Since we put it together, she actually makes her bed every morning and keeps telling us how much she loves spending time in her room — which might be the best review a parent can give! Assembly was very straightforward and easy to follow. Like some of the other reviews mentioned, it does take some time, but I chose to build it in sections over two days, which made the process very manageable. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed myself. My husband only had to help me carry the bookcase sections upstairs because of their size. For the price, I think this bed is an excellent value. It completely changed the look and feel of my daughters room and gives her a fun, cozy setup that she genuinely enjoys. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable bedroom upgrade that looks great and isnt overly complicated to assemble. We are very happy with our purchase! PS. I purchased this bed for occasional use in a smaller guest room, and it works well for that and looks attractive. The complaints about the headboards being wiggly and not coming together at the corner are completely deserved. I actually had to bolt the headboards together because they simply did not seem sturdy enough for guests to lean and relax against and the gap looked bad. Also, the instructions are bad, treacherously bad. Do yourself a favor and read the entire directions several times though because the diagrams are not sufficiently drawn on every step to know which direction the headboard feet are supposed to be installed.
