However, after reading the details and purchasing on “blind” faith, I must say that I’m very pleased with the final results! Instructions were not super clear, but it was easy enough to put together. Shelf inside seems sturdy. The sideboard is very nice but came with damage from the manufacturer (the shipping box was perfect and the piece was well-protected). I also bought 2 end tables to match this and despite the sideboard being the right colour, the 2 end tables were much darker, therefore don't match at all. If there was no damage and the colours matched, the only negative comment I would have is that it isn't as wide as I had expected so we won't be fitting our placemats in there (even folded)!
