Pros=For that price I was expecting better from the company, from the description and the pictures. It does not extract a 'wow' from my guests but it does not get chided either - it adds a conservative finish decor to your place - and we sought that. Cons =Major broken pieces and major cracks - see photos. I used gorilla glue to glue the broken pieces and cracks. Bottom line = if you want a clean and conservative finish, go for it - but watch out for broken parts - manufacturer must lower price for the end consumer - for their QC lapse and charge back the shipper for mishaps.. I have a strong construction background and have built many of these types of furniture pcs. They are usually quite easy to assemble. However, there is one point in the construction of this unit that is impossible for the average person and did not go well for me either. I had to tape the parts together so they did not fall apart again (when following the instructions to stand unit on its side) and rip out the threaded inserts again. This part of the build is a two person job. Although the instructions state "carefully place unit on its side" they do not stress enough that it will all fall apart and potentially damage the unit beyond repair. The inserts are pressed into fabricated wood which is soft and do not hold well when stressed. I was able to get passed the initial disaster, reinsert the threaded inserts and continue the build by using painters tape to hold the unit together until all sides were in place and supported. Once completed I was content with the look and function of the stand which is why I am giving it four stars. The design for assembly deserves one star.. Anthony. Richmond Hill, NY. Thu Jul 16 2026
