I’m pleased with the overall appearance. The cabinet looks as described. Assembly was simple. I am 72 yr old female with arthritis and it took me about 3 hrs to complete. Full disclosure, I used an it is pressed wood so don’t overload it but it works great for my purposes. electric screwdriver or I’d still be working on it with the small screwdriver that was sent with the hardware. The only reason I’m giving this dresser a 4* rating is the customer service !!! I received it and a very big amount of the parts were damaged or broken. No questions asked, they sent me a brand new one! However, it’s a pretty poor quality. The drawers don’t slide in smoothly and get stuck all the time. There is a separate piece that goes in the frame of the face of the drawers and is not properly glued to the frame so it all moves as you open the drawers. I had to glue them all myself so it doesn’t drive me crazy every time I open it. If you are looking for a quality dresser- I would not recommend this one! While I definitely recommend having two people for assembly, it is possible for one person to put together it will just take considerably longer. There were a few small rough edges during assembly, but once everything was put together, they were barely noticeable thanks to the soft, natural oak color. I especially love the two open shelving areas, which are perfect for displaying game consoles, décor, or photos, along with the two additional closed cabinets for keeping things tucked away. Solid dresser! Love the color combo as it matches with my decor perfectly. Heavy and solid so hoping it will last a while. I like the slim, straight-lined look with recessed handles. Directions were pretty easy to follow, not the best I’ve ever had because they don’t point out attention to the predrilled holes on the pieces. Took over an hour for me to put together because there were soooo many parts! I like how the drawers have an arm underneath for added weight support for each drawer. The reason for 4-stars is the drawers are shallow and not wide at all. I’m a small adult and I have to tri-fold all of my clothes to fit.
