This is a very, very beautiful bed. It has a nice elegant touch and it is made very well. It was extremely easy to assemble. The height of the platform is perfect as it raises the mattress up to a normal height. A lot of platform beds keep the mattress pretty low, but this one doesn’t. Which makes it look nice against the headboard. The fabric of the headboard is nice to touch and it is a nice thick weave so it will last. The set up was slightly more parts than I would have hoped but the quality is pretty good for the price so it makes sense that costs were cut in pre-assembly. The boucle fabric is nice doesn’t feel cheap, this bed is overall an excellent value. Id highly recommend this model if you’re looking for a round edge boucle headboard with a thicker base. I love love my bed!!! It’s perfect in size, sturdiness, color. The only issue I had(which was my fault) when putting it together you have drill the slats on before attaching the bottom frame to the headboard or you’ll think the slats are too short. This bed doesn’t require a box spring However, if you’re not looking for a low profile look with the mattress then a box spring is needed. This bed is super easy to set up and is very strong and durable. I really love that this bed was not tufted velvet like the others but pleated velvet instead.
