Not sure why I thought it would take us 2 hours max to assemble no it took us 5 hours. Had to take it down because of piece 6 the wholes were facing out instead of inward to attach board. The velvet feels very soft and luxurious and the material is made easy to clean. This bed doesn’t require a box spring However, if you’re not looking for a low profile look with the mattress then a box spring is needed. This bed is super easy to set up and is very strong and durable. I really love that this bed was not tufted velvet like the others but pleated velvet instead.
