Light is dimmable and has temperature adjustment but it is all controlled by an included remote control (does not include the 2 AAA batteries required). The instructions for wiring could be better. I wired the brown wire to be hot and the blue wire to neutral. Also, this light fits snugly to the ceiling and you will need a long, long Philips screwdriver and need to be close to the ceiling to screw in the two screws that hold it to the mounting bracket. It's doable but really hard to hang. I wrapped a little tape to hold the screw to the screwdriver to help hold the screw and secure the light.
