My favorite lamp! I live in Florida and found this would fit perfectly into my decor considering I own 10 palm trees! I love it. It was a little difficult navigating assembly. I needed a wrench to secure the bottom, luckily I happened to have it. There's a nut on the bottom that just spins unless you hold it steady while you tighten the bottom to the first bar. There's only two things that took away a star. One-the bulbs are super bright. My son complained so I had to turn it off. Two-the bulbs are little plugs I've never seen before and I'm not sure how I will be able to replace them when the time comes. Overall I love it! This lamp looks great in person and has a really modern, interesting shape. It was very easy to assemble, arrived well packaged, and the light works well. I also really like the foot switch. It’s fairly lightweight and you can tell the shade is plastic when you handle it, so it doesn’t feel especially heavy or high-end, but visually it looks much nicer than it feels. It can also be a little wobbly if the pieces aren’t screwed together tightly, but once everything is properly tightened it feels stable.
