Great sit\stand desk. We love the quality, I've purchased a few of these for my work-from-home employees. I tried ordering another product that was a disaster, but weirdly wayfair didn't allow the review. If you order these make sure they do not come from the returns department or are not on "clearance". Clearance items on Wayfair are typically returned items with some issues. This one was great and certainly not the case.. James. Houston. Mon Aug 03 2026

Thanks to a gas-spring assisted lifting mechanism, height adjustments are smooth and require little effort. There's plenty of room for your keyboard and mouse, and the rear of the workstation accommodates a single or dual monitor mount.

I LOVE this adjustable desk. I only wish I bought it a year ago. I have been sitting way too long at my desk during the pandemic and this has been a back saver. I stood for 2.5 hours the first day of using it and so far 2 hours today. It's easy to assemble - just 4 screws to attach the keyboard tray and voila - you're done! It's very easy to lift - the first time is a bit of a challenge just until you get the mechanism engaged and going forward it's a breeze. There's plenty of room on the top shelf for my large monitor and my laptop and my keyboard and mouse fit great on the bottom tray. I love the white as my desk is white and it's not obtrusive. I have a desk riser at my office that was more than double this price, and this one is SOOO much better for my needs. Can't recommend highly enough.. Jennifer. Lincoln, NE. Wed Feb 24 2021

Keep the desk. Change how you work. Your current desk may already fit the room, your routine, and the way you work. CHANGEdesk Mini adds sit-stand flexibility without asking you to replace the entire desk. Place the converter on a stable, level work surface, add your equipment, and choose a seated or standing position as your day changes. A standing desk converter should make the workspace more flexible - not take it over. The 27.5 x 19.5 in. surface provides practical room for laptop-only work, a laptop with external keyboard and mouse, or most single-monitor workstations. Its compact footprint is a smart fit for home offices, apartments, student desks, cubicles, and shared work areas where a larger converter can feel oversized. The straight-up lift helps the converter remain within its footprint as the surface rises. Four fixed height settings at approximately 3, 6, 10, and 14 in. give you practical seated and standing options. To adjust, squeeze the side lever, raise or lower the surface, then release and guide it into the selected locking position. CHANGEdesk Mini arrives fully assembled. There are no tools, screws, drilling, or installation steps between opening the box and using the product. Reinforced steel legs and a durable engineered wood work surface support up to 25 lbs, while the included 1-year warranty adds purchasing confidence. Standing desk converter only. Laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse, desk, and other accessories shown in use are not included.

Generously-sized surface allows me to place a laptop (placed on a small orange crate to add height), a second monitor, a remote keyboard and mouse, with still plenty of space for writing etc. I was debating between getting this vs one with a separate keyboard/mouse shelf, but am glad for the contiguous space in this design. Raising the converting desk takes some practice as the spring is not strong enough to lift all the weight on the surface so you need both hands to help it up, as well as down. (A hydraulic system may have worked better, but would have added to the cost.) It is very sturdy though, and does not wobble or move at all when you're interacting with it in its lifted position. I am 5'3" and both the first and second intermediate positions (lifts surface 6" and 10" higher than my usual desk height) are quite comfortable for me. In the lowest position, the converter table surface is 3" higher than my desk, so you likely will need to add height to your chair. One small con is that it makes a reverberating metallic sound but usually only when lifting up/down. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.. Map. Cambridge, MA. Mon May 24 2021

I could not commit to a standing desk... most were very tacky and just not what I wanted in my house. I figured if I didn't want to have the standing configuration anymore and I didn't utilize it as much as I thought, I could get rid of the converter and keep my regular desk. The converted is EXTREMELY heavy right out of the box. it is very cumbersome but it needs to be to hold up monitors and support your workstation. Some have complained about how difficult it is to adjust the monitor arms... you don't want them to be too easy to adjust or they will be moving all the time unnecessarily. To me, it is perfect. My only issue is that the way mine is set up is that my laptop hides the controls to move it up and down, I need to get another extension to hold up my laptop ( I use the camera on my laptop and the extra screen) and be able to use the desktop space for my keyboard and see the controls. The up and down buttons are easy to see if you look right at them. It does slightly hang off my desk but I knew that would happen before I bought it. I have 2 27" monitors and the setup works very well!. Molly. MD. Fri Aug 02 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This desk converter would work really well for someone who has a very large desk. I would not say it’s very portable at all. It’s very heavy, but at least with it being heavy I know it’s sturdy and isn’t going to lose its adjusted setting.. Shaylac21_6661. Tue Apr 22 2025

Sit to stand in seconds with this motorized standing desk. Lift and lower your desk without the struggle of traditional risers, perfect for sufferers of back, elbow, shoulder, or wrist pain. Compared to other top electric risers on the market that pick up speed as the riser lowers, only to crash onto the desktop and jostle whatever is on the riser, This desk converter is thoughtfully engineered with a patented braking system that ensures smooth and even operation, no matter the height. We're confident in the quality of our products, and back that up with exceptional 5-year support on every standing desk and 3-year support on electric motor and gas spring systems.
