This reclaimed pine chest is a one-of-a-kind piece that will make any room stand out. The piece features a unique bow front that is pleasing to any eye.

So the dresser is absolutely beautiful and larger in scale than anticipated. Initially purchased for my young daughter but the drawers are not on any track system and there is nothing to prevent them from being pulled out entirely. The pine is actually very soft like new pine, not hard and dense like "old wood." Wood is also rather unfinished and a bit splintery. I will be adding a wax layer to make it softer to the touch and prevent staining since it will now be used as an accent cabinet. It really is charming and I like it, but not quite what I expected. Smell is very unpleasant but I imagine that will go away with time. Completely assembled, even feet. Cant recommend for a child's use or for heavy frequent use. Good for a guest room or entry.. This is constructed out of N. American hickory with solid maple inlays. It has a thick walnut inlay. This is true heirloom furniture with all the bells and whistles.

This is so great that I really can't expound upon it's quality and style sufficiently. We bought it along with a matching queen size bed frame. I'm adding photos that show the wood slats in the construction of each piece. I hadn't detected this in the website photos. But, it made the pieces all the more beautiful. The dresser is fully assembled and came undamaged. The queen bed frame obviously came unassembled, but was very easy to set up. Good quality wooden support slats for your mattress to lay on.. The wood and finish are beautiful. You can see the care that went into getting the coloring in the wood on each draw to go together. Be aware, this piece is REALLY heavy.
