I'm a 67 yr. old petite woman and I just finished assembling this cabinet by myself, using only a screwdriver and it took me about 3 hours. It's very well made, instructions are easy to follow, but I did see the complaints about the difficulty with the doors, but I did not have a problem with the doors. Be aware that if your TV is 55" like in the photo, once you position it on the cabinet the TV legs will hang off either the front or back of the cabinet. The piece is very well made and solid. It is very heavy but was packaged well and there was no damage. They assisted bringing it into our house as well. The TV in the picture is a 65 and fits just perfect IF your TV has a center stand. If you have claw feet at each end of the TV it will not fit. The color is not quite what I was expecting, it has more green than blue for a tealaqua but I liked it so we kept it. I definitely recommend this product due to its quality and workmenship! My son and I put this TV stand together fairly easily. It took 35 minutes and required no tools except for a Phillips head screwdriver for the anti-tip restraint. It was a little tricky getting the sides attached, but one has only to slide up from the wide part to the narrow part to lock the sides into place at the top and bottom. It was a little tricky keeping the sides open for those portions where we needed them open to connect the sections. The top is heavy and it is overall quite sturdy. The wood has a pleasant smell and the doors are a nice touch. The black wood grain is elegant and the finish is shiny.
