Assembly was smooth with no issues — everything followed easily and I didnt run into any missing pieces or confusing steps. All the drawers and doors glide and open smoothly, which isnt always a given at this price point. The curved doors feel a bit delicate, so I use them sparingly. I store board games inside mine and its held up well for everyday use. One thing to flag the finish shows oil stains easily, so definitely use coasters and be mindful of what you set on top. For the price, I think the quality is exactly what youd expect — solid for everyday home use, but I wouldnt expect it to survive rough handling like a packed moving truck. As long as youre not planning to move it around a lot, its a great buy. Visually its a big win — it filled out my large media wall beautifully and looks much more expensive than it is.. Brett. When i saw this item browsing Wayfair, i hope it would look as good as it does in me and my husband’s living room. It took a few days to put together as we took an hour or so with each piece and we had company which delayed our assembly timeframe. The directions were pretty clear except on the bookshelves which took us a little deciphering on one part …. but we figured it out. easier with two people assembling but could be done solo if you have a knack for putting things together. decent quality and looks wonderful. we are going to get sticky paper to put iver the glass since we do not want all the items we store to make the furniture look cheap or messy. love the colo and it totally made our room come together although we still have books and other items to put away. need to stanalize the bookshelves by anchoring to the wall but fairly easy to accomplish. would definitely buy again..
