The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. For the price this is a good unit to have. It took me about 5 hours to assemble 2/3rd by myself. The negatives: 1. Despite the description saying it's Engineered wood, it's not. It's particle board construct - less durable in a long run. 2. Lazy Quality Assurance. Some of the packets aren't even labeled and you have to guess. This cabinet looks SO much more expensive than it is. That is a true wow factor. The wood tone is rich and warm, the textured detailing on the drawers gives it such a designer feel, and the smoked glass doors add the perfect modern touch. It instantly elevated my space and feels like something you’d find in a boutique hotel or high-end furniture showroom. I did not use it for a dining room it will be in my Living room for books, decor items and liquor but I can truly say it could be for any space. It would be amazing for handbag storage in a bedroom. I especially love the mix of mid-century and modern styling the gold hardware and legs are subtle but really pull the whole look together beautifully. It’s narrow enough for smaller spaces and apartments while still offering a surprising amount of storage. The drawers are really deep. Assembly definitely took some patience and almost 2 hours especially aligning the doors evenly, but once everything was together it felt sturdy and looked incredible. I’d recommend having a second person help with setup just to make the process easier. The final result was 100 worth it.
