Purchased these to supplement broken pool light. These solar lights are decent. Not as bright as I had hoped. They require being attached to a string held down by weights (used rocks) not provided. I suppose they don’t really need to be weighted down but won’t stay in place of choice, obviously. Something else to consider-robot pool vacuum will get caught up in solar lights string. Well after reading other reviews I don’t agree that you can’t hear the water. I do think after getting it that it’s overpriced by 50.00. It’s made in China not the US.
