Bought open box item that had been used and did some modifications. The 3 sponges that are glued into the 3 bowls had too much epoxy holding them in taking up a 3rd of the opening and leaving very little sponge for water to run through so they would clog easily. Took sponges out. Ground excess epoxy out of bowls with dremel tool. Put pump in small plastic container with lid. Cut hole in lid for pump hose. Cut hole in back for power cord and drilled multiple holes all around to let water in. The Chinese were the first to control the pitch or note of a bell, making it possible for them to play tunes. Soon bells were being used to accompany worship. On New Year's Eve, the bells in Buddhist temples are rung 108 times, once for each of the 108 worldly desires. In the East bells have become very important and are often decorated with significant symbols. For centuries, tuned bells have been suspended in homes and temples to ward off evil and attract good luck and prosperity. These ancient bells inspire Woodstock Temple Bells and work harmoniously with the wind to create gentle, soothing tones. In 1979, Grammy(R) Award-winning musician and instrument designer Garry Kvistad created the first Woodstock Chime from an aluminum lawn chair he found in a landfill. Fascinated by the Scale of Olympos, a 7th-century pentatonic scale that can’t be played on a modern piano, Garry cut and tuned the lawn chair tubes to the exact frequency of the ancient scale. The Chimes of Olympos was the first of Woodstock Chimes Wind Chimes and is still one of our best-selling, musically-tuned windchimes. Garry and his wife Diane founded Woodstock Chimes in 1979 and remain based in New York’s Hudson Valley.

I absolutely LOVE this fountain! It looks incredible in person and it’s one solid purchase, which I like much better than having it sit inside or on top of another piece.
