This desk is really beautiful and incredibly easy to assemble. It does require 2 people though bc the tabletop is solid wood. Very heavy. I also didn’t realize that the one end of the table does not attach the the lower part. It just rests on top it basically uses its own weight and it stays put. The only issue I had is shipping. Wayfair said it would deliver in 2 days. I then get an email saying the dimensions are too big for FedEx so it had to ship freight and it took 2 weeks instead of the 2 days like their website said. I gave this desk 4 star and that’s due to the damage to the top section. The aesthetic is nice and the wood is solid. Due to its sizeweight it was shipped by freight in 2 large boxes. Delivery was great, the guys were fast and professional. When we opened the box that had the top of the desk in it, the stone surface was cracked down the middle in 2 places where the outlet box is. Very frustrating and disappointing to say the least. I reached out to customer support (Michelle) and they connected me to the manufacturer and together they helped to resolve the issue. Desk is really nice and really big the 70" but Im in woodworking buisness and its a challenging job to build a desk like this but its definitely worth it . Of course I could knit pick but if I wasn't a finish woodworker id be 100% happy im about 90% happy especially knowing the challenge of building a oval wooden desk and the paint finish was also good so overall its very nice and definitely was the look I was goin for ..
