This bookcase was exactly what I hoped for. I ordered 3 and was a bit nervous because another reviewer advised against trying to put multiple cases next to one another because they were reportedly crooked. However, I took a chance and hired someone to assemble them for me and they look fantastic next to one another! The bookcases are heavy and made of sturdy material and add a touch of elegance to my living room. The cherry oak matches my other furniture perfectly. Highly recommend!. Tiffany. Seattle. This classic bookcase brings clean organization to your home office or study area. It's crafted from solid wood, highlighting a smooth texture that coordinates effortlessly with various decor styles. The open shelving provides plenty of space to display books, framed photos, or storage baskets while keeping them easy to access. A fully finished back panel adds versatile placement options, letting you position it against a wall or use it to divide your space. It also arrives ready to use right out of the box to save you time.

The color and style are perfect in our bedroom, however the first try arrived damaged and trying to re-box it in the original cut-apart, damaged box was not fun. The replacement arrived about a month after the initial, damaged shelf and is in good shape. This is the second time we have ordered a wood product that arrived damaged. I like the final result this time though. Last time the replacement console table was worse than the first one!. Ruth. Franklin, TN. Sat Sep 19 2026

Standard Bookcase offers high-quality laminate construction and contemporary design. Shelves are thick and made with thermally fused, laminate for long-lasting use. The visible, one-piece backing behind the shelves is made with matching laminate. Both sides are finished. The bookcase features adjustable shelves, one fixed bottom shelf, square edges, and adjustable feet.

This is a beautiful piece actually; it’s quite nice for the price point. Of course the instructions only show pictures with lots and lots of small detail and it’s always nice to have written instructions alongside. It took us longer to put together than it should have. One additional mention which I will be contacting you about is the back of the bookcase requires about 20 drilled holes to receive the final back piece to complete the project. Only two screw holes are drilled at the top of the bookcase, and none of the other holes are pre-drilled. We will have to drill the holes ourselves. Other than that, we are satisfied.. Patricia. The bookcase itself is very nice, but some holes didn't line up when putting it together. Also the top portion and the bottom portion do not line up flush across the front. They are offset from each other. I did not see anything explaining that the pegs that hold the shelves are made of plastic. I have bought other bookcases that use pegs to set the shelves onto, but they are metal.. Jane. Warren, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026

This is so pretty. I bought the white. My husband assembled rather quickly. He asked where I want the shelves because once you push the pegs in, they're hard to get out to readjust. Definitely a solid piece that I'm not afraid to fill with books.. Michele. Myrtle Beach Sc. Mon Jul 27 2026

Gorgeous linen white color that matches our walls perfectly. Shipping took longer than expected. I ordered 2 of these and each has some slight imperfections from handling. This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again..
