I completely missed the note that there is only ONE shelf for the door sections. One door sections gets a shelf and the other does not. Seems a bit cheap to skimp on one shelf. Interior depth behind doors is only 10 inches so it did not work for what I wanted to put there. 3 ring binder fits but the doors an not completely shut. Not noticeable. the bookcase is great. the color is slightly off from the pictures but i expected that based on reviews and it matches my other furniture as a result. maybe have more ergonomic philips head screwdriver ready because the one it comes with hurt my palm quite a bit. only complaint is the mechanism to keep the bookshelf from tilting was confusing. im just going to get a different earthquake strap.. We are enjoying our bookcase. The light color fits in just fine with the other colors of bookcases. It was pretty easy to put together.
