Take it back a few decades with this industrial inspired desk. The visible piping framework is finished with an antique black to create an authentic throwback atmosphere.

Two holes were stripped and screws would not thread in. Very poor instructions. Table frame is greyish, not black. Top is not wood, but I knew this. It’s actually quite nice. This is a good looking table but 4 stars because the top of the table is 2 pieces and the wood design doesn’t match (see pictures). The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail. I had my office almost a year before finally breaking down to order a desk. This one had great reviews and looked amazing for what I wanted so I decided to bite the bullet. Mostly, this is a great desk once put together. It looks nice, can fit in just about any setting, and has space for my computer. However, some of the pieces did not line up properly and I could not put it together completely. I was only able to get 3/4 of the screws into each shelf even after readjusting the center legs multiple times and swapping sides. Not a huge deal since I won't be stacking anything heavy on them. The wood is not solid but a veneer so keep that in mind as to what you may be using the desk for. The screws were mislabelled but not a huge deal (only two sets, short and long). I was able to lift all of the pieces myself (small female) without assistance. Overall, I'm happy with the desk though I personally think the price was a bit high for the quality.. Hailey. This is a stunning, substantial piece for my townhome's office/den. I love the black iron bar that runs through it. Great material and color juxtaposition to the solid wood. The bar is both stylish and functional as a foot rest. No ottoman needed! One caution - the walnut is much more light cherry-ish than medium brownish walnut wood, so it hardly looks like the product photo, but thankfully it still comes across as modern, as I didn't want a traditional-looking desk.
