VERY easy to put together and exactly what I was looking for. They are solid, have glass doors, which is a huge plus for those critters that will scratch up plexiglass. I bought 4 of these and might be back for 2 more before the price increases. I actually attached 2 of them together for my Ackie monitor and she absolutely loves it. I built them separately but cut a passthrough hole in 2 of the side pieces where they would be connected. Screwed them together and used silicone to seal it before painting the inside of the enclosure. I also added a piece of wood to the inside where the bottom metal screen is to make a high substrate barrier. This gave her a 62x15x15 enclosure for a LOT less than other options out there! Also, I am able to get away with a 25w halogen lamp for basking!!!! That in itself is absolutely amazing! We went down from a 150w light in her previous enclosure. It's easy to install lighting inside, just be aware of your temperatures, wattage, etc. Always use cage guards to protect your critters, ceramic bulb bases and it's always a good idea to use a heat shield. For my basking light I used the Arcadia Reptile clamp lamp which comes with a bulb cage guard and different mounting options. I also have a LED UVB strip light on the basking side and a basic non UVB LED strip light on the far right side of the enclosure. This is the best tank I’ve had for my ball python yet. I have a full grown male in here. I also did bioactive and the bottom is perfect for creating drainage layerswaterproof. * Adding that I was immediately sent replacement glass so now changing my review to 5 stars. *Editing my original review. 10 minutes after putting my bearded dragon in this tank the glass shattered out of nowhere ! Nothing was close to it. There’s 1000 no way for a bearded dragon to cause this!!! This enclosure is really big! It looks really nice in my living room. Assembly took around an hour was pretty simple. I love that it has cut outs for lightsheat lamps. The doors slide easily. It’s not quite as black as I expected. I used this for my hamster. Came in a GIANT wooden crate that needed to be taken apart with a crowbar. The box with the terrarium inside weighed several hundred pounds. Hard to move. To put this terrium together was simple and easy. This terrium is the perfect size for my son's leopard geckos. The only thing I did was buy some adhesive handles to aid is opening the glass doors.
