Quick delivery and very easy to put together. Followed the directions and within 20 minutes had it up and ready for the cats to climb on. This has been a great addition to our cats’ furniture collection! The smalleryounger cat loves to sleep on the flower on top, which is made of something like memory foam, but a bit denser. This is a very solid cat tree! Wider than I thought. The top bed perimeter is flimsier than I thought it would be, hopefully my cats don't fall over the edge. The middle bed has a pad insert in the bed instead of a solid unit. The pad is smaller than the inside area of the bed and looks like it could easily be slid out if a paw got attached to it. I purchased this for my mobility challenged ( tripaw ) cats. The spacing will allow them to safely climb without me worrying about falls as much. Yes it's expensive BUT .. the quality of the wood is exceptional. I am a little concerned the carpeting is very thin and it may become an issue with shredding- hopefully not! I will update this review in a few months on the durability of the carpet. We have a rescue and this tree is a hit with everyone.
