All parts were there, holes and hardware lined up. It's a great price for the size. My cat is 14 lbs. I feel like the size of the ledges and height of enclosures are too small for him, but he manages. Just can't stand up or turnaround easily, but he still loves it. Little wobbly but I also don't have it fastened to wall yet. With just the one cat might not need to. He isn't like a crazy kitten running up & down it, and is apprehensive about climbing it to begin with. He can feel it shaking, so he's just cautious. I got this cat tree for my chunky girl who’s a whooping 15 pounds of awesomeness. I got it to replace another similar one, that was simply too small for her. It’s soft and very sturdy. My cat is not a big climber so this one is just perfect. "The directions were not great for building this, but we were able to get through it. It took about 2 hours with 2 people. But the tree itself is so wonderful I'm not taking stars away because of the instructions. The tree is heavy and sturdy, with lots of shelves for climbing, a little house at the bottom, and my cats adore the hanging toys—those won't last long! My picture shows three large-breed kittens playing on it, and there is still room! There are little adjusters on the bottom to level it and they work great—despite the jumping around of these heavy kittens, this tree didn't wobble at all. I love pet products that are easy to clean. Traditional options with glued carpet are a nightmare because I have to pull out a steamer. But any soft surface on this model can be removed and thrown in the wash! That is a huge bonus for me! Finally, it's a very attractive piece of furniture! Form and function both! I've been trying to find something to put in my front entryway that also looks nice, and this fits the bill perfectly!". My cat loves this cat tree! I am super careful when picking my cat furniture because I don't want anything flimsy or something that could tip over. My cat is larger and weighs 11 pounds, and she fits perfectly in all of the bowls. This is also heavy enough to feel stable, it weighs about 40 pounds, and with the way each perch is set up, it feels balanced. I also like the way the bowls are spaced so she can jump up to the top using each level on the way up, so the design is cat-friendly. I like the combination of a flat perch in the middle along with the three bowls, and the 54-inch height is perfect so I can still reach her. The first thing I noticed is that the fabric wraps all the way around each piece, so the entire tree is covered with material. I did not want exposed wood underneath the perches. This is much better quality than I had expected, and my kitty couldn't wait for me to put it together so she could use it! I assembled it myself in less than 5 minutes, it was very easy, as you only have to twist on the poles and two of the sleeping bowls, and thats it- no tools needed. The bottom base comes already assembled. It comes with an attached cat toy, but I removed that, so this is not showing in my photos. I am very happy with this and so glad I picked this one.. Ljc777.
