Fantastic purchase! First think is this is big and tall. Be prepared to get a lot of sand. I bought 300lbs. and it took it like nothing. Locate and place base begore filling for sure. The umbrella itself is wonderful. It is beautiful and covers a large area and just looks luxurious. It opens abd closes with ease. The 360 degree turning is also easy and a great feature. It’s a beautiful umbrella once put together. The reason for removing one star is that the instructions should be more clear. We have two purple leaf umbrellas on different patios. They have worked so well for us that we have recommended them to neighbors as well. It’s been a few years since we bought them and they still work great. We fill the bases with water each spring and empty them in the fall. The fabric has held up well.
