This was just what we needed. We bought a 50lb weight, but we live up on a hill and one day the wind caught our umbrella and blew the weight into our fence. We now have this extra weight, and a table over top of it holding everything down. It’s worth the money to not have to worry about our umbrella taking off anymore. Beware, this weight is very heavy. Hold the previous weight on your lap and have someone help you screw in the new weight. I tried to do it by myself and broke my pinky when it dropped and my pinky was between it and the travertine. We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. It provides plenty of coverage without shading the entire pool, which is exactly what we wanted. The umbrella was straightforward to set up and feels sturdy once assembled. The canopy provides excellent shade, and the ability to adjust the position helps keep the shaded area where you need it throughout the day. We've also been impressed with how well it handles wind. We've had some pretty strong gusts here in Florida recently and kept a close eye on it. It stayed firmly in place and never felt unstable. We've only had it for a short time, so I can't speak to long-term durability yet, but so far we're very happy with it.
