I like this and I am small enough fit through the gate, but my elderly father has trouble with it and his caregiver has trouble fitting through it and opening and closing it. This 30-inch gate saved me. Its ultra-narrow 1.37-inch bars stopped my mini Dachshund from slipping through, while the vertical design frustrated my climbing cat. I installed it without drilling—just tightened the knobs, and it held strong against my 50-lb Lab’s zoomies. The double-lock latch is genius: nobreaksm carrying groceries. It expanded to fit my uneven hallway, and the auto-close door silenced my worries. Even my toddler’s fingers are safe!
