Seems to be an ok gate. Looks nice. Was easy to install. There is a small plastic piece with a spring behind it at the bottom of the gate that was broken when it arrived. I just took it off and it doesn’t seem to interfere with operation of the gate so, I’m not sure what it was there for. Pretty sure it was broken before it even left the factory. The box was in perfect condition. We still can’t figure out how to get the cat door to slide up so that’s disappointing. The lock/unlock knob appears to do nothing. I like this and I am small enough fit through the gate, but my elderly father has trouble with it and his caregiver has trouble fitting through it and opening and closing it. My dog is 15 pounds and can’t get out of it, so that is the best part. Perhaps my Dad’s caregiver will figure out how to open and close it. It’s okay that my Dad can’t open it because he has dementia and has to stay supervised. If you are on the bigger side, be sure to look at measurements and make sure it is big enough.. Sasha.
