Cat Gate for Doorway, Auto Close Pet Gate with Extension Kits, No Drilling Pressure Mounted Dog Gate for Stairs, Doorways, Kitchen, Hallway

Originally we purchased this 51 tall gate to keep 3 curious cats away from 2, 25lb foster boston terriers. Our smallest cats tries, but cant squeeze through the 1 12 spaces between the bars and the wall. Turns out one of the dogs can jump that high and touch the top of the gate. Thankfully, we keep the dogs contained in a room with a lower floor, adding 8. Lesson-Make sure to get the best height. Only complaint is there is no leverlatch at the bottom to keep the gate swinging in just one direction, like other gates we have. We fear a strong enough pup can ram the bottom open without that latch.. Melanie. PA. Thu Oct 15 2026

Please measure the size before purchasing in order to buy the appropriate size of the door sill! Note: Don’t cut the zip tie until fully installed! Keeping my energetic pup contained used to be a constant battle, but this 40.55" gate changed everything. I finally have peace of mind knowing my home is secure without drilling holes into my walls. Whether I'm carrying groceries or juggling pet toys, the auto-close feature is a lifesaver. It’s sturdy enough to handle my dog’s excitement while blending perfectly into my space. Good prices for quality furniture but the return process is hit and miss. Something I sent back without any issue. I got to pick the day I wanted it returned but another item I had to call in and argue about it. The fan was defective and I had to argue to get a full replacement. The pickup day for the old one just got scheduled for me and it was in the middle of when I was moving. Very inconvenient.. Robyn. Las Vegas, NV. Fri Oct 16 2026

Allows me to open the door and come in and out without being bombarded by three dogs. I like the latch.. Anonymous. Tue Jun 30 2026

Is your furry four-legged friend causing chaos around the house while you’re out? Keep them confined to one room with this must-have pet gate! Crafted from manufactured wood, it features four panels with hinges so it can easily fold up for a simple storage solution when not in use. Plus, it has two support legs so it can stand freely without damaging your walls. And with neutral coloring, it won’t clash with your current color palette.

Attractive and Durable, but Needs Securing I've used this gate since December 2023, and it has held up well. It's attractive, heavy, and true to size, and I really appreciate the height. The included support feet are a nice option, although I don't use them. My main complaint is that my dogs can push the gate to the side unless I secure it with carabiners. With that workaround, it serves its purpose. Overall, I'm happy with its appearance and durability, and I prefer it to a typical utilitarian-looking pet gate.. Sims Family Reviews. Kansas. Installation is quick and simple, with dual mounting holes for extra stability, and it fits door frames up to 96.5 inches high. This versatile pet gate is perfect for doorways, stairways, and more—keeping your pets safely contained wherever you need them.

I do love the design of this gate. It’s so tall that my kitties can’t go over, around, through, or under. I even like the way it opens to let me go through, without having to negotiate a bottom rail to trip on. It locks securely and was easily assembled and carefully packed. It’s attractive and exceptionally useful. My only concerns: My doorway was not true. It apparently is a few millimeters wider near the top than bottom, so the center doesn’t meet the same way in the top as bottom. This is not the fault of the gate, so I did not deduct a star. My other concern is that there’s a lot of plastic parts. I wish all the components were made of metal. However, since I had no problem with the metal parts during the month I’ve used it, no deducted star there, either.. Janice. Durant, OK. Wed Jun 24 2026

Please be sure measure your opening prior to purchase to ensure proper fit. Do not cut zip ties before setup! Keeping my curious pup away from the kitchen while balancing groceries used to be a daily struggle—until I found this gate. Whether I’m navigating the stairs or heading out to the porch, the auto-close feature is a lifesaver. I love that I can set it up without drilling holes in my walls, and that extra-tall barrier finally stopped my dog from trying to jump over. It’s the perfect blend of peace of mind and effortless style.

So, we had a bit of trouble in the beginning but Wayfair made it right. The first gate was dented pretty badly, we returned it received the second one which was missing the screws needed to put the footers on. Once the screws were received we were able to put it together correctly, I am so glad we got it. Its very heavy duty. The door is easy to openclose for access and its stylish.
