This version of a wall mounted umbrella is exactly what I was looking for since I saw them used on a restaurant patio. I have a very specific application where I am mounting to a wood clad steel fence post. So I need a robust mount and well engineered durable hardware and adjustments. This version shines because of the mounting plate as well as the geared joints which can be locked down with cam levers and hex screws. The plastic holder for the umbrella post looks robust and is easy to connect below and above the ribs for use and storage respectively. Love the look and how simple it is to install. If I had one thing that isn’t necessarily a problem, rather an annoyance, is that it definitely takes some leverage to move the trigger up to the lock position.
