Use doly to pit in back yard..opem the 1st and 2nd boxes...start with those make the base then open boxes 3 and 4 and put plastic end caps on metal ceiling shutters. Make sure you are putting them the correct way or else you will work twice. They should all face the same way and side just like the 1st and 2nd ones thst are controlled with the arm. Level your pergola and tape around the base foot, before you add the ceiling panels. Looks at alot of videos and put some moving blankets on floor to put panels on. Turned out nice. Had this professionally installed and mounted the post in concrete blocks to give more stability. The metal pieces itself is lightweight aluminum but when connected together it’s sturdy. Only gripe are the shade connector poles. Their means of connecting could be improved because they slide off & disconnect from one another every now & then but so far holds up well with rain when shade is pulled back. Haven’t experienced any serious windy conditions yet to speak on so we’ll see. So far overall all good.. Bryant. Miami, FL. Wed May 31 2023

UPDATE: August 24th 2026: The tarp was damaged due to heavy rain and I tried for two weeks to work with this company, the manufacturer, and the insurance with no appropriate resolution. This incident made me aware of how scamish and fraudulent these insurance companies are. The representatives were rude and in the end just refunded me for the policy - horrible service! Wayfair kept rerouting me to the insurance without seeming to understand what I was trying to explain. I will now seriously reconsider purchasing anything here in the future - BE AWARE AND CAUTIOUS WHEN PURCHASING ITEMS Good quality and has been withstanding extreme cold and wind so far. It was also very easy to assemble by myself. Nikoli. Toronto, ON. Thu Sep 03 2026
