I absolutely love this desk. Obviously at this price, it is not going to be solid wood. It’s made of particle board in China but it looks so much nicer. Some pieces were a little dinged on the edges, but none of that shows once it’s built. I have it next to a high quality dresser in my bedroom and it fits right in. I love that the top lifts to a standing desk when needed. My husband assembled it on his own and knocked it out pretty quickly. He’s an angel. I would not have enjoyed the process, but he found it very easy. Wayfair shipped it quickly. The only major annoyance is that they used FedEx and my FedEx driver is too lazy to take it out of the truck to deliver it. My Ring camera caught him on two consecutive days coming to my door to take a picture of my empty porch. He didn’t knock or ring and I got notified that delivery was attempted but no one was home. So far, so impressed! My office remodel got delayed so the desk is still an assembly-in-process, but the materials are all solid and in great shape. Be advised that it does ship in two boxes and they're both fairly heavy, so many hands will make light work. This table is wide and deep enough to have sufficient work space and also to have my computer monitors. I do however will still add a Vesa arm to extend things around for use in the office, but from the table itself, it works great already. The desk space with the drawers and spots on the side is great, one with a filing system and the others to place tall folders or diagrams are really good. The drawers are a bit stiff, but that will help it from getting too loose later on, but it still slides easily. This product is basically a tray table that has a few additional options. It is adjustable height which is a little awkward to do. I have to lift it up to do it so I’m not able to adjust it with anything on it. The tray also has a tilt adjustment which is much easier to adjust. One of the tilt angles is perfect for a laptop. I’m using it as a flat table for when I do a little artwork at night while we watch television. Just like advertised. Easy updown, easy to assemble, love the warm light tones. It might even be able to handle the 34” extra wide curved monitor (but that’s an unexpected surprise). I am excited to wheel this baby all over the house (without the monitor of course) and especially to the courtyard on warm days. The only reason it got a 4-star rather than a 5-start review is the fact that the top is very obviously plastic. Not one of those wood looking I can maybe fool you plastics. Wish they did a slightly better job.
