The color is lighter than I expected, it leans more white with a slight yellow tint rather than a true wood tone but it’s still beautiful. I love the natural look of this rug. It lays fairly flat right out of the rolled packaging. I ordered the 8' and the actual measurements are 95.5" (I've found that rugs aren't always the full footage).
