This is the dark gray version of the bed. It was very easy to assemble and everything lined up perfectly. If it didn’t, I’m sure they would’ve been able to replace it without much of an issue. It shipped very quickly, and there was no smell coming out of the box. The price is absolutely outstanding for the quality of the material. We love our Hanson bed. We’ve had it for several years now and paired it with a Casper king size mattress. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t creak or shuffle when you move in bed. The color is beautiful. If any lint gets stuck on it, a quick electric lint roller solves that issue. This was my very first purchase from Wayfair and I gotta tell you, I am impressed! The headboard arrived when promised. It really is a well constructed piece. Very easy to put together. I did not attach to an existing bed frame since I have an adjustable bed, but I plan to bolt it directly to the wall using the slits on the metal leg braces.
