It's a beautiful well made couch. But, it sits so high my feet do not touch the ground even when sitting on the edge. I am 5'4". It is a great couch to sit on for a period of time but it is too hard to lay down on, for any period of time. It is very big! I mean it is not 89 inches in total, it is more like 144" with the chaise attached. The cushions aren’t meant for lounging, the arms are hard, and it’s compact with a lean profile. However, it’s exactly what we expected and works for our needs and room setup. For $400 this is great. I’ve had this couch for a few weeks now and honestly, I really like it. It’s super comfortable and the leather feels really soft—like smooth and almost buttery, which I wasn’t expecting. It definitely looks and feels more expensive than it is. One thing I love is how the reclining works. When you recline the seat back, it doesn't take up more space behind the couch. That was a big plus for me. My only complaint is where they put the buttons to recline. They’re tucked between the seats, and there’s a small gap there to reach them. It works, but I’ve already noticed it’s really easy for things (like your phone or crumbs) to slip into that gap, which is kind of annoying. Overall though, I’m happy with it.
