It was a great buy, especially for the price compared to other options. It was easy to put together and there are English instructions! The instructions to attach the armrests and the footrest were missing but it was easy to figure out by looking at the illustrations. Everything about this chair is wrong: - the footrest comes up only when the chair is fully reclined - the seat of the chair is so high off the floor that the only person in our family whose feet could touch the floor while seated is 6 ft 4 inches tall - the lever to pull for reclining the chair is a safety hazard. If you aren't careful, your finger will get pinched (hard) in the mechanism. This has happened to two people in our family. - when the chair is in an upright position, it gradually reclines back until almost horizontal (without touching the recline lever). this could possibly be a problem where it was assembled incorrectly - we purchased Wayfair's setup/assembly package - another big mistake - Overall: THE CHAIR IS AWFUL.
