These chairs would probably be 1000 each in a furniture store, we paid less than that with tax for 2. They are heavy ( I wouldnt want to carry them upstairs - they come in 1 box) and feel like quality. My husband is 62 and 275 lbs . He can lean backrecline and the chair is stable. He likes the chairs as much as I do. The chair backs are a good height from the seat. Allowing you to rest your head to take the pressure off your neck. Nice little recliner! It rocks very smoothly, also swivels when reclined, and was very easy to assemble. I like the feel of the material but I did find a few nicks in it (not very noticeable) and when you recline it, it really kicks it out fast. Overall, comfortable and fits well in smaller spaces..
