I am a lover of beautiful dishware but after a few sets being beautiful and broken by my husband and kids I decided to try these. They are heavy and most people can't even tell they are melamine - we were entertaining the other day and a mom asked if I had any paper plates for her kids because she didn't want them to break my beautiful plates. 5 stars! Just be careful if you are trying to expand your set buying the individual place settings won't match.. Megan D.. Wed Jul 24 2024

You find yourself actually looking forward to setting the table, taking an extra moment to arrange the napkins, maybe lighting a candle even though it's not anyone's birthday. The plates become conversation starters: guests ask where you found them, neighbors comment when they spot them through the fence, and children remember dinners not just by what was served but by the pretty dishes that held it. I love the table. I put it together with a friend after taking the time to ensure every piece was included. The directions suggest 2 people 4hours. Definitely plan on it being that long.
