I waffled over this purchase for a very long time. I was in the market for a solid set of coupe glasses for cocktails, and my criteria was strict. Most coupe glasses I looked at were far too big, most of the cocktails I make are about 4 oz. tops. I wanted something with the right curvature, not excessively tall but not squat either. Not flat bottom, and not too narrow, in the style of a classic prohibition era coupe. These glasses are perfection. Very high quality, no seams, good weight, exactly the right size and fits perfectly in my hand. Worth the price. If i could give them 6 stars I would.. Anonymous. Fri Sep 04 2026

Our India Pale Ale glasses are robust and a little different, just like the beer after which they’re named. IPA is a beer that is rich in hops, malt aroma, and flavor. IPAs dare you to try the unexpected and go your own way. “IPA is essentially an ale, a top-fermented beer, so it should theoretically be ideal for a tall, straight ale glass, but that’s not the case. The high content of hops and malt produces a lot of aroma and taste, and usually a higher alcohol content, which means that undesired residual aromas of sulfur that are otherwise in ale are not noticed. So an IPA glass should definitely have a form that doesn’t hide anything, but emphasizes aroma and taste by narrowing at the top.” - Erika Lagerbielke, Professor in Glass Design

Shaken or stirred? Whichever you prefer, gin certainly isn’t meant to be on its own. It needs a companion! Mix it and you’ll find the botanicals in the gin come to life and bring that zing to the drink. This is why so many classic cocktail drinks call for gin. The strain that cools the drink into an elegant, chilled gin and tonic glass, is designed to trap the aromas. A roomy glass that does not merely enhance the flavor of the drink – it also allows for plenty of ice to keep the drink cool and slices of fruit for taste and décor. Gin and Tonic are made of high-quality, dishwasher-safe crystal.

We are enjoying the new crystal glasses by Orefors. They’re advertised as gin and tonic glasses and are really quite large but work just as well for red wines or sangria. Am quite pleased with this purchase!. Beth. US. Mon Jul 04 2022
