Setup wasnt too bad, but I did miss one thing and had to undo and redo a part (the two sides of one part are not symmetrical so you have to make sure you assemble with the same length sides on the same side). This table is cute. However, when I unboxed it, it already had a scratch across the top. The other issue was even though its all screwed in all the way the hydraulics seem to have issues. When opening you have to pull relatively hard as well as be careful when you close it because it drops hard. The hydraulic is also very wobbly and i cant figure out why. This is a great little coffee table. It is rather small so check the dimensions carefully. It works well in my tiny living room though. I didn’t give it five stars because the lift mechanism isn’t very smooth and it feels like it’s going to break or something and if you don’t have anything in the table you have to hold it still to pull out the lift or it scoots towards you instead of opening.
