I think the piece is beautiful, truly, but boy was it a nightmare to put together! I did put do it alone so maybe ask a friend for help. It took ~2.5 hours for me to put together. It did come with a few scratches and a piece of wood chipped on the door. The doors don't slide as easily as I'd expect and get stuck if you're not being delicate when opening/closing. I love this record player stand. Sleak design, relatively stable with pieces included to further stabilize the piece. Instructions were clear, but make sure to set an evening aside to construct as it took longer than expected. Only thing I’d change is the handle color which will be easy to do.
