Absolutely beautiful, black, solid wood table! It is not engineered wood or cheap MDF. Very easy to assemble. Just add the four legs. One of the two support pieces that go on the underside of the table came unattached during shipping but it was easy to rescrew it back into place. This table is exactly what we were looking for. We love that the extra leaf folds into the table for storage. It took us approximately four hours to put together, and we have put together a lot of flat pack furniture. Everything fit as described and the instructions had very good illustrations, so if you follow them you should have no problems with assembly. All the assembly parts were well labeled and packaged.
