Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. If you're looking for fine furniture made of hardwood, click away: this ain't it. It's flat-pack furniture made of something slightly harder than balsa. It's cheaply made and the accuracy of the predrilled holes is um... a valiant effort. But for the money it's a decent value for disposable furniture that I can get a few years out of, and hence the 4 stars. My use case: I needed a stand for my 3D printer. This is perfect and also the second one I have purchased for my Voron fleet. The drawer is perfect for small tools. The bottom shelf holds about 16 spools of filament. Easy to put together. Lighter weight than I thought so it moves around easily … sometimes a good thing sometimes not such a good thing. Yes 4 people can sit and eat with plates and beverages and a salt shaker in the center but everyone is sitting close enough to see the pores in each other’s faces. No room for serving dishes so we eat buffet style. Not a problem for two or even three at the table. The “cracks” in the table top that simulate wood slats are just food crumb collectors so cleaning means getting a potato brush or toothpick to scrape them out when you wipe it off … best to use a table cloth.
