This set has been perfect for my eclectic-beachy/nautical style home, in an open space I wanted to keep dining and living visually separated without competing and also not taking up too much space. Love the expandable feature and how easy is to expand. The assembly took just a few hours but I did need help because I am not strong enough to tighten those screws all by myself! I have been using it since and so far nothing has cracked or gotten loose. I would say the boxes were heavy but I could manage and even with all the moving around, nothing arrived scratched or damaged. Special thanks to the FedEx tracking that kept me posted on the delivery so I was able to get the delivery guy to leave the boxes where it was easy for me to collect. It is a beautiful table and well made, but the color is a cream. If you are looking for a pure white table, then this one is not for you. It was pretty easy to put together with the chairs taking the longest. There is a distinct line in the table where the leaf is stored. It’s not a total smooth surface.
