The fixture is nice but the color is a little warmer than we'd hoped for - it almost reads copper at certain times of the day. Also, the glass dome doesn't sit perfect in the band or ring around it. This light looks great once it’s up, but the installation was more problematic than it should have been. The instructions were unclear, and the illustrations did not match the actual setup well enough to be truly helpful. That turned what should have been a simple install into a frustrating process. Visually, the fixture is attractive. The hand-woven rattan shade and brass hardware give it a warm coastal, boho look, and it does cast a nice soft light with a pleasing pattern. It works well if your goal is atmosphere rather than super bright task lighting. That said, the poor installation experience takes away from the overall value. When you buy a ceiling fixture, the setup should not feel like guesswork. If you are not experienced with light fixture installation, this could be especially aggravating. Overall, I like the look of the fixture, but the bad instructions and incorrect illustrations made the process far harder than it needed to be.
