It’s really nice! Got a professional to put it together and it took a long time and some extra tools from the hardware store to get it the way we wanted it. Great product we purchased the 12x20 said you will need 6 people for 14 hours, I did it in 16 hours by myself the only part I needed a quick hand with was putting up the 4 posts once I had those up I was off to the races directions were very clear few confusing parts but nothing that wasn't fixable, its sturdy and well built all screws lined up with pre tapped holes and it looks great at the campground, 3 hours after completing it we got a thunderstorm with heavy winds, we stayed dry under there, I was 100% leary of it coming from wayfair but I am impressed with it anyone complaining about it should just hire someone to build it because no issues seeing i did 98% of the building of it myself.. We ordered the 14x28 Purpleleaf Gazebo. We were looking for an easy maintenance option as our prior one (much smaller) was cedar and always needed cleaned and re-stained. We are extremely happy with the quality and look of this gazebo. It is massive but exactly what we wanted- an outdoor living space protected from the elements! The instructions could use a lot of work. It doesn’t appear they actually built it themselves when writing them. They needed more actual written instructions and not just pictures. My husband is very handy so of course figured it all out but it took us both looking over the steps multiple times to be sure we were installing the correct pieces in the correct way. It is critical that you have a tall ladder- we have a little giant ladder and it was perfect. You also need a 2nd person on hand (that was me) as some things just can’t be done alone. Better than expected. Seems to be well made. I hired a construction guy/friend to assemble it. He brought two employees, and it took a day and a half to assemble. I have only had it up for a month, and it hasn't been through any harsh weather. I will report if it becomes an issue. Solid construction. Not quite like the picture. Screws are black, not gold, roof panel does not look exactly like picture either. Put together by myself in about 13 hours, from unboxing to last screw, not extremely handy but a decent DIY'er. I did needed about 10 minutes of help from my wife to align the brace supports from the posts to the frame. The most annoying part was taking all the plastic off the metal roof panels (Tip: Don't try to do this if the panels are too cold or too hot, you will be tearing off small pieces). Out of all the material I would say the roofing panels look good but are very thin, the framing structure is quite sturdy to brace the panels but wouldn't want much snow to build up on it, as I can see the panels sagging under the weight.. I love my purple leaf gazebo. Sitting on my vinyl deck and secured with flower pots and clement mix to give it some weight. Well as much as I love this gazebo I wanted to be transparent on how many pieces this thing actually is. Took about two hours to unbox and unwrap the entire thing. I will say it was thoroughly packages which I really appreciate but every single thing was wrapped individually. We have a previous gazebo from wayfair that was a little smaller in size but took us about 3 hours total to put it together. We are on day 4 and still do not have it up completely. I do love it and how its looking and will post the finished once its all up but I recommend making sure you have enough hands to help or you prepare the prep of opening everything first. It is great once you get it together. The directions are not good. I think who ever created the directions needs to put one together to improve them. It takes a lot of time to put together. I am also disappointed because the screens open and close from the outside?? I am missing some parts have reached out to company but have not heard back.
