Previously I have only purchased rugs from Wayfair, which I have always loved. I had never purchased any furniture. I was looking for a daybed and found one that I liked, so I bought it. Being a female in my 70’s, I was worried about the assembly. I considered paying to have someone put it together but my son said he would do it, so I didn’t purchase that. My son got very busy when the daybed arrived so it was just sitting in the box. Then I decided to start to read the directions and before you know it, I had assembled the bed all by myself. Overall, I’m pleased with the outcome of the bed. Assembling the bed is a timely process. The instructions says two persons are required for assembly. Not true. I completed the job by myself, which is likely the reason it took 7-8 hrs to assemble. Attention to details is necessary for assembly there are very few words in the pamphlet so the pictures are your path. The delivery however did require two ppl to lift. The daybed was delivered quickly and in good shape. All pieces were there and probably took my husband about an hour to put together. The color is accurate with the photos. The only negatives are the visible screws and nothing provided (like stickers or covers) to hide them. They are very obvious and make it look cheaper than it should. There is also exposed unfinished wood near the drawers, again affects the appearance. That may be easier to hide once blankets are added.
