The bed is really pretty, sturdy, solid wood, but it’s a few things that prevent me from giving 5 stars. No instructions, took some time to find them online. The headfootboardsside rails don’t perfectly line up, which bothers the perfectionist in me. Not enough screws included to screw in both sides of each slat, had to do every other. I read the reviews before purchasing this bed. I was prepared for the assembly even had a saw handy for the slats. It went together fairly easy. I followed the instructions step by step. I had the help of my 75 year old Aunt. We completed it in less than two hours. My only issue was the slats were not all predrilled and the screws provided were less than great.
