We bought 4 stools for our island and they looks great. Assembly was little more difficult than expected, but directions were good. Seat cushions are very nice, but a little hard when you sit in them the first time. I expect that the cushions will soften up as they get used. Although they are a little hard at first, the cushions are still comfortable. We found these at the Wayfair store in Columbus, Ohio and were able to test them out in person before purchase. Mark. Perfect touch of warmth to our kitchen. They’re not the sturdiest, but the price point was why we purchased. I also have to put a blanket on them if sitting in short jammies, as the material digs into your skin and feels itchy. My 3 year old doesn’t like the way they feel on his knees when he kneels on them. Still…for the price, you can’t beat them.. Rory. Orlando, FL. Sun Jul 12 2026

I absolutely adore these barstools! I purchased them when we moved into our home six years ago, and I’m happy to say that we still use and love them today. One thing that makes me especially impressed with these chairs is that they’ve survived six years with rambunctious kids. My children are not particularly gentle with furniture, and these chairs have been tipped over more than a few times. As a result, the backrests have loosened and slightly broken in a couple of spots over the years. Thankfully, we’ve been able to tighten everything back up with an Allen wrench, and they’ve remained perfectly usable. The black legs have also accumulated a few chips and scuffs from daily family life, kids running into them, toys, and general wear and tear. However, after six years of heavy use, I still think they look fantastic. One thing to note is that the seats are wood and have decorative grooves where crumbs and food can collect. It’s not a major issue, but you may occasionally need to wipe them out or vacuum the grooves to keep them clean. Overall, I would absolutely recommend these barstools. They are stylish, durable, and have held up remarkably well in a busy household. I receive compliments on them all the time, and people are always surprised when I tell them they’re from Wayfair. I would definitely purchase them again!. Sarah. Hayden, ID. Thu Jun 25 2026

I love these stools and have no regrets whatsoever! Love the fully swivel and modern design. The driftwood color is slightly warmer than the last island stools I had which is a huge bonus since it closely matches the wood color of my cabinets (cherry with driftwood glaze). The seats are comfortable and durable and the color beige linen is so sophisticated and classy. The fabric is a tightly woven so hopefully my cat’s claws won’t do too much damage. Because I got such a light color I will plan to spray Scotchguard on these to protect the light fabric from stains. Putting these together was a snap too. It took my a couple house to do all five but it wasn’t complicated at all. All in all I am so grateful to get such a beautiful set for a fair price (cost my just under $900 for all five but the quality is there so it’s worth it). I would highly recommend these.. Anonymous. These are very sturdy stools and the wood is beautiful. BUT. I bought 2 sets. One set was fairly well matched in color, the other was not. One was very yellow on the top and the other fairly dark. In person, they didn't go at all. I solved this because I didn't want the hassle of returning them by painting the tops. Great stools but be aware of the color variation. I bought them hoping that the variation would mean that they matched my table. The difference was too much (and too yellow) hence the paint.. Carol. Dc. Thu Sep 03 2026
